What payment options are available?

Entrants may qualify for the Commonwealth Government student loan scheme known as VET Student Loans. This means you could study now and pay later.

Minerva College also offers vocational education places on a full-fee basis for students who are not eligible for a VET Student Loan. Students wishing to pay for their course can:

  • Make cash payments upfront.
  • Apply for credit or a personal loan.
    • With this option, after addressing certain eligibility criteria, you may be eligible for a personal loan from a financial institution, which must be paid back in line with that institution’s specific terms and conditions, but which will enable you to pay for your course upfront without having to apply for government assistance.

Pathways

SOUTHERN CROSS UNIVERSITY

Students who successfully complete the CHC50215 Diploma of Community Services may choose to undertake further study with Southern Cross University (SCU).

SCU provides a range of vocational education and training (VET) pathways to university from some Nationally accredited VET courses and qualifications within discipline related Australian Training Packages.

SCU’s national VET Qualification Credit Linkages facilitate entry (admission) and/or credit for prior learning into a range of SCU courses for any person holding the specific qualification or accredited course award, regardless of which Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO) issued the qualification.
